Running for hearts: 300 miles of hope
I’m lacing up my shoes and hitting the road for an extraordinary journey on August 17th 2026— I will be running 300 miles in 6 days from Evansville Indiana to Lurie Children’s Hospital to raise funds and awareness for Lurie Children’s Heart Center. This effort is in honor of the brave kids facing cardiac health conditions and the dedicated doctors and staff at the Heart Center who make a difference every single day.
Each mile I run represents a child’s fight, a family’s hope, and the incredible strength of those battling heart conditions. The money raised will support Lurie Children’s Heart Center in providing top-tier care, research, and support for kids with heart issues—giving them the chance to lead full, healthy lives.
