Update! On September 4th, 2024, Our son John was brought into the world, in the namesake of the original JFK. At 27 weeks old and 1lb 9oz, he arrived.
Born ahead of his date, John showed up eager to live. Although, with bronchopulmnonary dysplasia. Plainly, he is unequipped to breath on his own. We've since had to jump to between hospitals
John was transferred to Lurie's on November 4th after exhausting all options at our previous hospital. Since then, he has completely turned it around - we are even stable enough to plan on getting a tracheostomy!
We are grateful for donations, as they provide us time, which is crucial in development. We have a road ahead with John, but there is a destination.
Lurie Children's has been an angel at the shoulders, and we are blessed to have their staff.
