My little brother had a congenital heart disease, and required open heart surgery to save his life. Lurie Children's was one of the few hospitals even capable of providing the treatment for my brother. Along with their high capability, there were compassionate and helpful, providing rooms for me and my family so we could be with my brother during the process.
