Aaron’s Coffee Corner provides 24/7 access to free, fresh, quality, coffee in the family great room of the Pediatric and Neonatal Intensive Care Units at Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago.
It is our family’s personal journey that has led us to create Aaron’s Coffee Corner. Aaron has spent many a difficult day and night in the PICU. He is a medically complex child and as a result of his underlying disorder things can go upside down very quickly. That being said, you really never know when you are going to need a cup of fresh coffee.
Proximity is key! No one wants to miss a doctor drop-in for an early morning progress check. Or, maybe there are concerns about the often unpredictable timing of daily rounds. Or, worst case scenario, your child just isn't doing very well. Your donation provides a little peace of mind and a sense of security and comfort by helping us make sure there is access, 24/7, to a fresh cup of coffee just steps away.
With your donation, you are providing a daily dose of comfort to all those that care for critically ill kids whether they are parents, guardians, caregivers, family, or friends.
