Almost 2 decades ago, I made a promise to my new born baby boy that was in the PICU and to the hopsital that had saved his life that I would climb these steps for as long as my legs would carry me.  At that time, I had no idea what life would look like for Jerry.  Now, almost 20 years later, while there have been many challenges in Jer's life, he climbs alongside me and an amazing team that comes back every year because of his story.

Stories like his can be found in so many of those climbing the stairs with us.  Lurie's saves kids everyday.  Lurie's helps to keep families whole everyday.  And while some stories don't turn out like ours, there are so many that do because of Lurie's.  

We will keep climbing for Jer and for all those just like him for years to come.
