I’m walking in The Walk for Lurie Children's because I believe every child deserves a healthier future. For many families, Lurie Children’s isn’t just a hospital—it’s a special place of hope and healing that gives their child a chance to thrive. 

I am walking in honor of Vernon, one of our first-grade students, who bravely battled a rare brain tumor and passed away earlier this year. Vernon was a cherished member of our school community, and we walk to remember him and to support his family, as well as other families who rely on Lurie Children’s during incredibly difficult times.

Your donation—even $25 or $50—helps provide comfort during a hospital stay, funds critical care, and supports research that could change lives.

$25 - Helps give a child toys or activities to do during their stay.

$100 - Helps support patient-and-family programs like pet therapy, art and music therapy and child life services, that ease the burden of long treatment.
