After raising over $100,000 in the past ten years of walking for Lurie Children's, our incredible Team Super Luke has our sights set on another goal - continuing to raise over $10,000 in donations every year until we hit $200K!

Our family does our best each year to show our tremendous gratitude to Lurie Children's Hospital for saving our Super Luke's life by helping to fundraise for the hospital, and our biggest annual fundraiser is Walk for Lurie Children's. 

Almost eleven years ago, at 9 months old,  Luke received his life-saving stem cell transplant at Lurie to cure him of a very rare and fatal genetic disease called malignant infantile osteopetrosis. Today, Luke is a vibrant and healthy five grader who plays club soccer and runs cross country and track and field for his school. 

For many families, like ours, Lurie Children’s isn’t just a hospital—it’s a special place of hope and healing that gives their child a chance to thrive. By walking on June 7th, Team Super Luke is raising money to help provide comfort, critical care, and groundbreaking research for kids when they need it most.

Your donation—even $25 or $50—helps provide comfort during a hospital stay, funds critical care, and supports research that could change lives.

$25 - Helps give a child toys or activities to do during their stay.

$100 - Helps support patient-and-family programs like pet therapy, art and music therapy and child life services, that ease the burden of long treatment.

$250+ - Advances research and new treatments so kids have more options and more hope.
