This year marks the 11th year that Team Super Luke has participated in the Walk for Lurie Children's. Last year, in honor of the 10 year anniversary of Super Luke's life-saving transplant at Lurie, we reached our $100,000 fundraising goal over 10 years of participating in the walk. And there's no stopping us!

Our family does our best each year to show our tremendous gratitude to Lurie Children's Hospital for saving our Super Luke's life by fundraising for Lurie Children's, and our biggest annual fundraiser is the Walk for Lurie Children's.

Almost eleven years ago, at 9 months old, Luke received a life-saving stem cell transplant at Lurie Children's, curing him of a rare but fatal genetic diease called malignant infantile osteopetrosis. 

Team Super Luke is walking in The Walk for Lurie Children's because we believe every child like Luke deserves a healthier future. For many families, like ours, Lurie Children’s isn’t just a hospital—it’s a special place of hope and healing that gives their child a chance to thrive. By walking, I’m raising money to help provide comfort, critical care, and groundbreaking research for kids when they need it most.
