We went into our 20-week ultrasound overjoyed. We came out terrified: Tetralogy of Fallot, a congenital heart defect.

Thankfully, Lurie was in our backyard. The Chicago Institute for Fetal Health cared for us for the remainder of the pregnancy. At 7 months old, Alia had her full repair. At 2, she is happy, healthy, and feisty!

We are so grateful to Lurie and want other families facing uncertainty to have access to the same top notch, compassionate care that we did.
