I’m walking in this year’s Walk for Lurie Children’s in support of Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago and The Chicago Institute for Fetal Health, where families facing complex fetal diagnoses receive highly specialized care, support, and hope during some of the most difficult moments of pregnancy.

This mission is deeply personal to me. My son, Campbell “Camp the Champ” Dugan Nickerson, is a Lurie success story, and our family experienced firsthand the extraordinary expertise and compassion that define this institution. Supporting Lurie Children’s is my way of helping ensure future patients and families have access to that same level of care when they need it most.
