We have begun a new fundraising commitment this year. It is a 4-year commitment to raise $5M dollars for the Chicago Institute for Fetal Health  This is an interesting aspect of Lurie Children’s Hospital: the patients are women experiencing high-risk pregnancy, often requiring leading technology and surgical procedures on the unborn babies, for anything from spina bifida to complicated twin pregnancies. Their work is leading the nation in research and techniques, and is one of the only compressive fetal health centers in the country. Our fundraising goal will primarily support research, along with establishing perinatal mental health care for the moms, as well as a patient emergency fund to support these families on their journey.
