I became an RN to help patients on their journeys through illness. As both a healthcare provider and, more recently, as a family member, I’ve interacted with thousands of patients undergoing treatments for cancer. I appreciate the impact that excellent patient care can have on patients’ lives.

This August, Tom and I are participating in the Chicago Triathlon not just as athletes, but as advocates for the exceptional pediatric care that Lurie Children’s Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders provides.
