How do I join a team?
If you are a joining a Corporate Challenge team, select the “Join an existing team” option from the Fundraise for Chicago Triathlon page. Search for the team you are interested in joining and click to join.
Do fundraisers have to be on a corporate team in order to fundraise for the event?
No. You can fundraise as an individual.
How do I create a fundraising page?
Begin your fundraising journey here. Click the “Join a Group” button if you are a member of the Chicago Triathlon Corporate Challenge team OR select “Register Myself” if you are not on one of the Corporate Challenge teams. Once you set up your page, visit your Fundraising Headquarters to customize your fundraising page with a unique name or URL, tell your story, set a fundraising goal, upload videos and photos, send emails and updates to friends and family, and collect donations online.
Can donations be made by check?
Yes. All checks should be made payable to Lurie Children’s and mailed to:

Please make note of the triathlete you are donating in support of when you send in the donation.
My supporter needs a tax-receipt letter. How do I get one?
A tax receipt is automatically generated for supporters who give online through your personal fundraising page. For gifts made by cash or check, donors must provide their complete name (first and last names) and mailing address. We will mail them a letter and tax receipt when their gift has been processed.
Are all participants and teammates encouraged to fundraise?
Yes. The Chicago Triathlon is a community fundraising event and all participants, including relay team members, are encouraged to fundraise in support of Lurie Children’s. Each individual must raise a minimum of $250 for pediatric cancer research. Check out some helpful fundraising tips to get started.
My employer will match my donation to the Chicago Triathlon. What do I need to do?
If your company has a matching gift program, please request a matching gift form from your Human Resources or Personnel department. Email it to [email protected].
What is the fundraising minimum?
The fundraising minimum is $250 per participant. We encourage you to make an initial donation to your page.
Can I choose a specific area of the hospital to support through my fundraising page?
No. Funds raised through the Chicago Triathlon support pediatric cancer research.
