About the Chicago Triathlon
Held for the last 40 years in downtown Chicago, the Chicago Triathlon is the largest urban triathlon in the U.S. Featuring 8,000 participants, 38% of whom are first-time triathletes, the Chicago Triathlon is one of the world’s most accessible triathlons. From first-timers to seasoned veterans, kids to grandparents, age-group competitors to paratriathletes, the Chicago Triathlon has an experience for everyone on the shores of Lake Michigan.
About the Corporate Challenge
Our goal is to raise as much as possible for pediatric cancer research at Lurie Children’s. Every participant — whether competing individually or as part of a relay team—must raise a minimum of $250 for Lurie Children’s by Friday, July 31st 2026.

- Supersprint Distance: 0.23-mile swim, 6.2-mile bike, 1.5-mile run
- Sprint Distance: 0.47-mile swim, 15-mile bike, 3.1-mile run
- Olympic Distance: 1.5K swim, 40K bike, 10K run
- Triple Challenge: 1.63-mile swim, 46.3-mile bike, 10.85-mile run
