The Walk on June 1 will be our NINTH year walking and/or fundraising for Lurie Children's!  Our family loves this kid-friendly event and would love for you to join us making our team 9X as successful in our fundraising!  This tradition began after our family's heart hero, Catherine, spent her share of time at Lurie Children's in 2015 after undergoing open heart surgery at just 5 days old.  Now, nine years later, looking at Catherine, you would never know that she lives (or thrives, dances, sings, plays tennis, etc) with heart defects or that her life began the way it did.  Over the past nine years, we have had numerous cardiology visits and also multiple procedures, check ups and ED visits for all three children - each one proving to us that we are SO lucky to have Lurie Children's in our city to save lives and encourage hope for all sick children in Chicago.  We are eternally grateful to the Lurie Children's team of doctors, nurses and staff and would love to host this successful fundraising team in support of our family's heroes at the hospital!
