For over 70 years, the Foundation for Hearing and Speech Resources (FHSR) has been dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for children with hearing disorders in Illinois. As a small, grassroots nonprofit, FHSR's mission is to support innovative educational, clinical, and social services that empower children and young adults with hearing loss to fully participate in society. Its vision is a world where these children can reach their full potential and enjoy the same social, educational, and economic opportunities as their peers. 

In partnernship with Lurie's, we provide support for the Hart Family Education Liaison for the Cochlear Implant Program, loaner hearing technology banks, and other support for children and families living with pediatric hearing loss.
