Our family, The Chan Clan, will be walking in The Walk for Lurie Children's because we believe every child deserves a healthier future. For many families, Lurie Children’s isn’t just a hospital, it’s a special place of hope and healing that gives their child a chance to thrive. I'm personally working to raise $3,500 for the Chicago Institute for Fetal Health (CIFH) because for some families, every dollar truly matters.

What should be one of the happiest moments in a parent's life, seeing their baby during a 20-week ultrasound, can suddenly become filled with fear and uncertainty.  CIFH cares for families whose babies are diagnosed before birth with complex and life-threatening conditions, including congenital heart conditions, spina bifida, congenital diaphragmatic hernia, and other fetal conditions that require specialized care before a baby is even born.

At Lurie Children's, families receiving devastating news are met with both world-class medical expertise and compassionate care.
