Team D'Angelo's fundraising for The Walk for Lurie Children's will support the new CSB fundraising initiative for the Chicago Instute for Fetal Health.
We have begun a new fundraising commitment this year. It is a 4-year commitment to raise $5M dollars for the Chicago Institute for Fetal Health This is an interesting aspect of Lurie Children’s Hospital: the patients are women experiencing high-risk pregnancy, often requiring leading technology and surgical procedures on the unborn babies, for anything from spina bifida to complicated twin pregnancies. Their work is leading the nation in research and techniques, and is one of the only compressive fetal health centers in the country. Our fundraising goal will primarily support research, along with establishing perinatal mental health care for the moms, as well as a patient emergency fund to support these families on their journey.
Lurie Children’s is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Gifts are tax-deductible and donors will receive an emailed receipt for their gifts.
