The Gold Mile

The Gold Mile

The final mile of Lurie Children’s Race Against Cancer is unlike any other.

Known as The Gold Mile, the last mile will be lined with hundreds of personalized messages of hope and support from participants who have raised $100 or more. Each sign celebrates the children, families, teams and supporters who make this event possible—and reminds every participant why we race.

Whether you race in honor of someone you love, as part of a team or simply because every child deserves a future without cancer, your ribbon sign becomes part of a powerful display of hope that inspires everyone along the course. And you can take it home following the event as a reminder of what you’ve accomplished.

Raise $100 and you'll earn the opportunity to personalize your own Gold Mile sign.
