I am running the Bank of America Chicago Marathon for the patients at Lurie Children’s! When my daughter was 24 years old I thought my need for a children's hospital for her was over, but I was wrong. When she required surgery to repair a very large hole in her heart, Lurie was the only hospital in the state, and one of just a handful in the country, where the surgery could be done, and it was quite literally life changing for her, and as a result, our family. 

I am dedicating my 26.2 miles to advancing research, supporting families and helping to provide access for more kids.

As a nonprofit hospital, Lurie Children’s depends on donations to provide the best care for kids. I hope you’ll help me reach my goal in support of the patients and families at Lurie Children’s.
