My son, Liam, was born prematurely at 30 weeks and 5 days, spending 70 days in the NICU. During that time, we were fortunate to have the care and expertise of Lurie Children’s doctors. Liam was also diagnosed with a rare heart condition - a right aortic arch causing a vascular ring that prevented him from eating solid foods. At 18 months, Liam returned to Lurie Children's Hospital and had successful heart surgery, and for the first time, he could eat normally.
I am running the 2025 Chicago Marathon not only for Liam but for all the children whose lives are touched by Lurie Children’s Hospital. As a nonprofit hospital, Lurie Children’s depends on donations to provide the best care for kids. I hope you’ll help me reach my goal of raising $2,000 to support the patients and families at Lurie Children’s. Your support can make a meaningful difference in countless lives.
Thank you for your support!
