Event Information

Teams representing local companies will face off in a variety of traditional events like tug of war and relay races — plus new events that will challenge strength, speed and wit. The better your team works together, the better your chances at taking home the gold. The overall winner will take home the coveted Corporate Cup plus bragging rights until next year’s event. With all fundraising supporting the patients and families at Lurie Children’s, Corporate Cup is not just fun and games, but an afternoon where community impact meets corporate teambuilding — there’s no other event like it.

Event Information

What will the event look like?

Corporate Cup is an in-person event where teams compete in various challenges throughout the day, followed by a post party. Check out our video from 2022 to see more

What activities will teams compete in?

Planned challenges include: relay races, traditional tailgate games, football toss, obstacle course, soccer kicks, and more. Final challenges will be shared closer to the event!

When should we register?

As soon as you can! Registration is $3,500 for a team, but registering early has its perks.

  • Register before January 1 to save $500
  • Register before August 1 to save $250
  • Register before September 1 to save $100

If you’d like to be invoiced for your team’s registration fee, or if you have any questions on getting your team registered, please reach out to Jessica Brooks at [email protected]

What is the day's schedule?

Site Opens at 12:30 p.m. (teams should arrive between 12:30 – 1:00 p.m.)

Opening Ceremonies - 1:00 p.m.

Games Begin - 1:30 p.m.

Closing Ceremonies - 5:00 p.m.

Post Party - 5:30 - 7:00 p.m. (Complimentary dinner, non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverages, and networking with colleagues and other teams)

What should we bring?

  • Comfortable shoes
  • Layers for the weather (Corporate Cup is a rain or shine event!)
  • A small towel for activities on the beach
  • We recommend teams come sporting their company’s colors and logos with pride! Wear matching company tees, or your corporate colors to help build that camaraderie and spirit. We will have some fun Lurie Children’s swag to add.

Will there be food and beverages available?

We will make sure nobody goes hungry!

We will have some heavier snacks available throughout the afternoon, but we recommend eating lunch prior to arriving.

We will have bottled water available all day, but you are welcome and encouraged to bring your own bottle of water too.

The post party will have plenty of nourishment after your active afternoon! We will have pizza courtesy of Home Run Inn, plus a full catered dinner, non-alcoholic beverages, and everyone’s favorite Revolution Brewing beers to toast to your team’s success.

Is there somewhere we can leave our belongings?

Teams that are at the sponsor level ($5,000+) will have a tent reserved for their team and can leave belongings there throughout the day.

All other participants can leave items at the site on available tables and chairs, just bundling your team’s stuff together.

We are NOT responsible for lost belongings; however, we will have staff at the event site the entire time as well as security monitoring the site.

Can friends and colleagues come as spectators?

Each team may register and bring up to 20 employees. It is up to you if all team members are participating, or if a few want to just come watch. Companies may not have more than 20 employees per team attend the event and all team members must be registered as event participants.
