Superhero Day

It's time to grab your capes and masks and unleash your superpowers for a day of fun, compassion, and fundraising. Superhero Day is not just a costume party – it's a chance to be a real-life hero for children battling illnesses. We're calling on schools, students, and staff to come together, fundraise, and show our patients that they’re not fighting alone. At Lurie Children’s, we’ll be celebrating Superhero Day on March 7, 2025, but you can pick a day that works best for your school’s schedule.

School Fundraising

Engaging students in fundraising activities for Lurie Children's offers a multitude of benefits that extend beyond monetary contributions. Participation in fundraising builds empathy and compassion in students, instilling values of kindness and social responsibility from an early age. Beyond the financial impact, students develop essential life skills such as teamwork, leadership, and organizational abilities through planning and executing fundraising events. In addition to Superhero Day, we partner with schools on programs like:

  • Dance Marathon
  • Extra Life
  • DIY Events (coin drives, read-a-thons, athletic events, etc.)
