I am running the Bank of America Chicago Marathon for Little Heroes League! I am dedicating my 26.2 miles to helping medically complex babies and their families thrive.

As a nonprofit organization partnered with Lurie Children’s (and other major children’s hospitals), LHL depends on donations to provide continue serving as the only care coordination program embedded at top-ranked Level IV NICUs across the United States. I hope you’ll help me reach my goal in support of the patients and families of Little Heroes League.

Here’s how your donations can make a difference:

$100 supports LHL’s overall mission to help medically complex children achieve their best life outcomes.

$250 helps a family organize appointments, equipment, and medication for their first discharge.

$500 offers one family one month of outpatient services, including access to community resources, so they feel less isolated after being discharged from the hospital.

$1,000 allows five families to receive initial in-home visits by a care coordinator. These visits strategically setup up family homes to best care for a child with special needs.

$2,500 supports one Little Hero and his/her family for two months of inpatient services, providing advocacy, coordinated procedures, and translation services that help facilitate quicker discharge to home.

All donations are tax-deductible and will be acknowledged by Lurie Children’s Foundation.
